Fixing Yellow Light of Death on a 40GB Playstation 3

Hi guys this is a video tutorial on how to fix a 40GB Playstation 3 that has the Yellow Light of Death. I have to stress that the insides of any other Playstation 3 will not look the same as the 40GB model, although you could use this as a reference guide. They are not very different but again they are not the same. The HDGamingRoom does NOT take any responsibility for anything you repeat in this guide. Opening up your Playstation 3 WILL VOID your warranty. Use at your own RISK. This guide will work on 99% of the time as the other 1% could be due to it being a PSU failure.

I was thinking of starting a new series called RetroGamingRoom, so this donation will probably be the start of that. Also I have stumbled across another fellow gamer that does great, original videos named KPea (link below), so you should definiatly go and check out her channel. The main reason for mentioning this is a while ago she posted a video called 'A Brief Gaming History' (link also below) which I thought was such a good idea for a video that I will be posting my gaming history in the up coming weeks. Mafia 2 Demo Gameplay

Just Cause 2 Top of The World Trophy Guide

Hi guys and gals, me here again with another Just Cause 2 trophy/achievement guide, which will be the last one (unless I get a request). I'm going to show you how to get the 'Top of The World' trophy/achievement which requires you to stand on the highest point in Panau. This is a very easy trophy/achievement to get. Simply fly to the highest mountain (co-ordinates below) and land on the top. There is a Ular Skull up on top of the mountain too so you will know that you are in the right place. Just Cause 2 Stunt Driver Trophy Guide

Hi guys, another Just Cause 2 trophy/achievement guide here showing you a quick and easy way on getting the 'Stunt Driver' trophy. To get this trophy/achievement the player must get over 100 stunt points. Now, stunt points can be achieved in many ways such as driving fast and doing stunt jumps to name a few. However, by far the easiest way to get this trophy/achievement is to drive over to Panau International Airport (co-ordinates below) and tether your car to a Aeroliner 474 that is about to take off. Simply get back in your car and enjoy the ride. Remember not to press the L1 button (the grappling hook button for those of you on other systems) as it will cause the tether to break. Just Cause 2 I Believe I Can Fly Trophy Guide

This is a quick and easy way to get the 'I Believe I Can Fly' trophy on Just Cause 2. This trophy/achievement requires you to base jump 1000 meters, which basically means you must jump off something solid e.g. a mountain and fall without opening your parachute until you reach 1000 meters. Base Jumps won't count if you jump out of helicopters or planes at high altitudes. To get this trophy then simply go to the hot air balloon (co-ordinates below) go as high as you can and jump out. As you can see I get way over 1000 meters but if you don't go as high make sure you only pull your parachute after 1000 meters, otherwise you will not get the trophy/achievement. Resident Evil 5 Benchmark

Just thought I would do a little benchmark test so here it is. This is Resident Evil 5 benchmark version running in 720p, DirectX 11 and at 55-60 FPS, which is partly due to Fraps. Without using Fraps I get 60+ FPS but anyway it is still at a very playable frame rate. For those of you that don't know, the benchmark version is a computer controlled demo meaning I am not controlling any of the characters on the screen. Every day over the next couple of weeks, I am going to be uploading at least 1 video showing the locations of all the intel in each mission of F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. Even though I am playing the PS3 version of the game, the guide can be followed for the XBOX 360 and the PC. HowTo Record PC Using The Intensity Pro

For the last couple of months I have been trying to figure out a way of how I can record my PC using the Black magic Intensity Pro instead of Fraps. Fraps is a good tool to use but it lowers the frame rate on games dramatically, in some cases so much so, that it can render the game unplayable. After multiple searches on Google and a few E-mails to Black Magic (which ended up being dead ends) it finally came to me, and now it seems so simple. To help you with the preferences in Media Express I have posted some images here of the settings you need to use for a few set ups you might want to record. For some reason, which is unknown to me, it is not possible to get it to work without using a HDMI splitter. If anybody knows an easier way of getting it to work without using a HDMI splitter then please leave your suggestions in the comments section. Hopefully this video tutorial is going to be one of many that I hope you all enjoy and it is dedicated to all the Black Magic Intensity Pro owners that want to record their PC. Modern Warfare 2 Team Deathmatch Wasteland

This is a video of a team deathmatch on the map Wasteland. For this match I chose to use my Sniper Class, which is very unlike me as I am not very good at it. The first minute of the video is sped up due to the fact nothing happens and would be quite boring to watch in real time. My Sniper class consists of:

Driver Playstation 1 Gameplay

With the release of the teaser trailer for the new Driver game by Ubisoft I thought it was fitting in this video to show the original masterpiece. Released on June 4th 1999 in the U.K. Driver was one of the first Playstation 1 games I ever played. With 3 sequels plus mobile games it is a highly recognised series in the gaming world today. Looking at the game now it does look a bit dated graphics wise but the music and the gameplay make this one of the most enjoyable driving games on the market. This version of the game is available on the PSN for £3.99 and I think it is definitely worth it. Remember to rate, comment and of course subscribe to my Youtube channel. ModNation Racers Demo

This video is of the ModNation Racers demo that hit PSN (Playstation Network) on the 26/05/2010. The game was fun to play but took a while to get use to the drifting system. Would I buy the game? probably not but I think its definitely worth downloading the demo to give it a try and maybe even a rental. I like the concept of creating your own tracks and publishing them but with Little Big Planet 2 just around the corner with the ability to create any type of game you like (including racing games) it would be worth just waiting for that.
